Jackie  is a highly regarded bassoonist, celebrated for her dynamic artistry and versatility across orchestral, chamber, and commercial music. Currently serving as Head of Woodwind and Head of Winds for the National Youth Orchestra, Dubai, Jackie is a passionate educator, dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians while maintaining an exceptional performance career.

With an illustrious orchestral résumé, Jackie has earned highly competitive orchestral trials with some of the world’s most renowned ensembles, including the Birmingham Royal Ballet, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. As a sought-after freelance musician, Jackie has performed with premier orchestras all over the world such as the Royal Opera House Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.

In chamber music, Jackie has graced stages alongside elite ensembles including the London Mozart Players, Britten Sinfonia, Notes Inegales, and Manchester Camerata. A versatile performer beyond classical platforms, Jackie has played a role in high-profile global tours and studio recordings. Career highlights include performing as Principal Bassoon on Sting’s Symphonicity World Tour with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, participating in The Star Wars World Tour (RPO ) and contributing to the Oscar-nominated short animation film ‘ This way up’. Jackie’s extensive recording credits include work with These New Puritans, the BBC and RTE alongside West End work for Carousel at The Savoy Theatre and The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium.
