Paul Saunders

By successfully adding saxophones and flutes to his portfolio Paul has become one of the most versatile woodwind players on the London scene. Previous West End shows include: Billy Elliot, Guys and Dolls, Les Misérables, The Producers, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Full Monty, My Fair Lady, Ghost, Chicago, Top Hat and many more… Paul’s current post is the clarinet chair on the West End production of Wicked, a post he has held since the show opened in 2006. As the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s multi-instrumental consultant, Paul’s role is two- fold.

Andy Berryman

Andrew is a renowned trombonist, conductor, and educator with an international career, holding principal positions with leading UK orchestras and currently directing the NSO Symphony Orchestra in Abu Dhabi.

Andy Findon

Andy is Europe’s most recorded flute player, featured on countless film, TV, and album recordings, and renowned for his innovative solo releases and long-standing role in the Michael Nyman Band. A master of both traditional and rare woodwinds, he is London’s go-to “ethnic” instrumentalist and a key contributor to the Spitfire Audio sample libraries. Andy also composes extensively for music libraries and performs with acclaimed groups such as Home Service, Gryphon, and major London orchestras. His career blends classical, folk, rock, and global music with unmatched versatility.

Benjamin Ellin

Benjamin Ellin is co-founder and musical director of De Mowbray Music and its festival, as well as principal conductor of the Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra. He is acclaimed for his bold programming, inclusive projects, and diverse compositions ranging from symphonies to film scores, performed worldwide. Benjamin has collaborated with leading orchestras and artists globally, receiving multiple awards including the Barlow Endowment Prize. His works, including a recently premiered symphony commemorating Evgeny Svetlanov, continue to garner critical acclaim.

Jonathan Barrett

Jonathan Barrett is a conductor, composer, and educator based in Dubai since 2012. He teaches at Emirates International School and leads the UAE National Youth Orchestra, nurturing young musicians. Jonathan has composed notable works performed at Dubai Opera and has conducted orchestras in both the UAE and the US. With degrees in trombone and composition from Baylor University, he is dedicated to fostering musical growth in the region.
