How We Keep Students Safe

Vetted Tutors
All tutors undergo enhanced background checks and complete safeguarding training before teaching.

 Professional Conduct
Tutors follow a strict code of conduct, including:

• Always using secure video platforms
• Keeping communication professional
• Maintaining appropriate teaching spaces
• Ensuring cameras are on during lessons (with consent)

Parental Involvement
We encourage parents or guardians to be present or nearby during online lessons, especially for younger students.

Secure Systems
Our lessons take place on encrypted, secure platforms. Personal information is stored safely and in line with data protection laws.

Recognising and Reporting Concerns

We train our team to look out for signs of:

• Unexplained changes in behaviour
• Emotional distress or withdrawal
• Visible injuries or neglect
• Disclosures of harm or abuse

If a student shares something worrying, we:

1. Listen calmly and carefully
2. Take their concerns seriously
3. Report immediately to our Designated Safeguarding Lead
4. Never promise confidentiality if someone is at risk
