Myfanwy Price

Myfanwy Price began her oboe studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Junior Department. She went on to complete her BMUS degree and Master’s degree at the Royal College of Music. For several years, she was the principal oboist of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales and the Young Musicians’ Symphony Orchestra.

Alexandra Callanan

Alexandra is a graduate of the rcm, where she studied with martin gatt, julie price and andrea di flammeneis, achieving a bmus hons and pgdip. Throughout her time there she was a scholar and winner of the fanny hughes bassoon prize for two consecutive years.

Fiona Orford

Fiona is a clarinettist performing across both modern and historical instruments, working with top ensembles such as the English Baroque Soloists, BBC Symphony Orchestra, and Pygmalion Orchestre.A regular at major festivals and opera houses, she combines orchestral, chamber, and solo performance with a passion for teaching and international touring.

Iona Garvie

Iona completed her Master of Music with distinction at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2008, after studying at the Royal College of Music. Based in Scotland, she freelances widely as a bassoon and contrabassoon player, performing with top orchestras including the BBC Symphony, Philharmonia, LSO, and Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Her career spans classical to modern styles, alongside a passion for teaching. Outside music, Iona enjoys yoga and rock climbing.

David Ruff

David is a versatile London-based flautist and multi-instrumentalist with degrees from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He freelances with top UK orchestras like the London Philharmonic and BBC Philharmonic, and has extensive West End and international musical theatre experience. Skilled across flute, piccolo, clarinet, and saxophones, David also records for film and TV, and teaches at schools including Lochinver House and Music Makers summer courses. His career blends performance, recording, and education with technical mastery and musical intuition.

Ian Mullin

Ian Mullin is principal flute with English National Ballet and trial sub-principal with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. A Royal Academy graduate, he’s performed with top UK and international orchestras, recorded extensively, and toured globally. He’s also a popular flute educator with over 500,000 YouTube views and an ARAM awardee. Outside music, Ian is a dedicated martial artist training for his 3rd-degree black belt in Danzun-Ryu Ju-Jitsu.
