Myfanwy Price

Myfanwy Price began her oboe studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Junior Department. She went on to complete her BMUS degree and Master’s degree at the Royal College of Music. For several years, she was the principal oboist of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales and the Young Musicians’ Symphony Orchestra.

Adrian Miotti

Scott McBirnie

Luke Dempsey

Luke Dempsey has served as Principal Trumpet of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra (Copenhagen Phil) since 2022. His extensive performance experience also includes guest appearances with prestigious ensembles such as the Oslo Philharmonic, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Danish Orchestra. Luke also performs regularly as a soloist with a wide range of ensembles across Scandinavia. 

Katy Jones

Katy Jones has been Principal Trombone of the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester since 2012, and was previously  Co-Principal Trombone with the London Symphony Orchestra. Aswell as having performed in concert halls across the world, she can be heard on numerous soundtracks, including Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, and the final four Harry Potter films.

Dan Trodden

Dan was born in 1983 and grew up in the Splott area of Cardiff. He started playing cornet at the age of eight under the tutelage of Matthew Thistlewood, and moved onto tuba at the age of eleven whilst attending Glantâf Comprehensive School, during which time he gained a place in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain at the age of fifteen.
