Luke Dempsey has served as Principal Trumpet of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra (Copenhagen Phil) since 2022. His extensive performance experience also includes guest appearances with prestigious ensembles such as the Oslo Philharmonic, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Danish Orchestra. Luke also performs regularly as a soloist with a wide range of ensembles across Scandinavia.
Luke’s teaching philosophy is rooted in being “Honest, but kind.” He believes that lessons should be enjoyable and inspiring, ensuring students leave with a clear path to improvement. While focusing on individual goals, a core emphasis is placed on developing a beautiful, resonant sound – the kind that captivates audiences.
