Iona Garvie

Iona completed her Master of Music with distinction at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2008, after studying at the Royal College of Music. Based in Scotland, she freelances widely as a bassoon and contrabassoon player, performing with top orchestras including the BBC Symphony, Philharmonia, LSO, and Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Her career spans classical to modern styles, alongside a passion for teaching. Outside music, Iona enjoys yoga and rock climbing.

Jemma Bauser

Jemma is a British oboist with a diverse career in orchestral, solo, and chamber music across Europe. She studied at the Royal College and Royal Academy of Music and earned a full scholarship to study under Hansjörg Schellenberger in Spain. Jemma has performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, and in the West End, and worked with conductors like Bernard Haitink and Vladimir Ashkenazy. Now based in Paris, she continues performing with various ensembles and orchestras.

Lianne Barnard

Lianne studied flute and piano at the Royal College of Music and began her freelance career in her final term. She now performs as guest principal flute with major orchestras like the BBC Concert Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic, tours globally, and regularly plays in West End shows such as Les Misérables and Wicked. Alongside performing, she has extensive studio experience, recently recording for Mission Impossible. With over 30 years of teaching, Lianne now teaches flute and piano privately from her home in Tunbridge Wells.

Kerenza Peacock

Kerenza, a Royal Academy of Music graduate now based in Cornwall, has recorded several albums as a soloist with the Royal Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestra, with her music frequently played on classical radio worldwide. She led the Pavão String Quartet on extensive tours across Europe and the Middle East and has toured as a fiddle player with the alt-bluegrass band The Coal Porters. Kerenza’s film and TV credits include Encanto and Avatar, and she has recorded with artists like Harry Styles and Adele, serving as concertmaster on Adele’s world tour and Vegas residency. She also led a global project uniting 94 violinists in support of Ukrainian musicians during the conflict.

Wai-Yin Lee

Wai-Yin Lee, originally from Hong Kong, began her piano studies at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts before receiving a full scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music in London. She completed her master’s at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she also held a two-year repetiteur fellowship and worked with the National Opera Studio. Now based in the UK, Wai-Yin has built a versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician, and opera repetiteur, currently working at the Royal College of Music and frequently collaborating with the Royal Academy of Music and Opera Holland Park’s outreach programmes.

Ali Berry

Ali began studying piano at age 12 at the Royal College of Music, where she also completed undergraduate studies and a postgraduate course in vocal coaching and conducting at the Opera School. She enjoys a diverse performing career across music theatre, theatre, and opera, frequently working in the West End on shows like The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and Wicked. Ali has an excellent piano teaching practice, experienced in guiding students at all levels—whether working toward grades or exploring classical and popular repertoire without exams. Her extensive theatre credits include roles such as associate musical director and cover musical director on major London productions, alongside performances with leading orchestras and opera companies.
