Kimberley was awarded a scholarship under the government’s music and dance scheme at the Purcell School of Music in 2002, where she studied clarinet and saxophone. After leaving the Purcell school, Kimberley continued her studies as a scholar at the Royal College of Music, where she studied with Timothy Lines, Richard Hosford and Kyle Horch. She has had the privilege of participating in a variety of concerts and masterclasses with names such as Sir Simon Rattle, Michael Collins, Joan Enric Lluna, and Bernard Haitink.

As well as orchestral playing, Kimberley also works as a chamber musician, most recently performing the Schubert octet and the Brahms clarinet trio. As a teacher, Kimberley has taught in a variety of settings and works with children as young as infants to adults. She teaches 1:1 instrumental lessons as well as coaching larger ensembles, including working for the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. Kimberley’s pupils have a 100% pass rate in examinations and include students who have progressed on to study music at junior conservertoires and Oxford university. Most recently, Kimberley has completed her master’s in music therapy. Kimberley has a huge passion for helping her students to find the joy in music in order to aid their progression.
