Robert Samuel

Robert was introduced to brass when he started playing the cornet with the gwaun-cae-gurwen brass band, aged eight. He quickly progressed to the national youth brass band of wales, being awarded the john childs memorial scroll in 1990 and 1991 as the most promising player.

Dan Bosinceanu

Dan is a berkshire-based bassoonist and educator. He studied at trinity laban conservatoire of music and dance, where he was awarded the harold clarke woodwind competition, the vernon elliot bassoon prize, and a royal philharmonic society sir john barbirolli foundation scholarship.

Kate Hainsworth

Kate has a varied career of teaching, performing and recording. Kate has been teaching for over 15 years. She finds this extremely rewarding and currently teaches all brass and music theory at the royal masonic school for girls in rickmansworth, both in the prep and senior schools and she also teaches privately.

Emily Haf

Emily is a female british pianist, trumpet player and dj currently residing in bahrain. Emily studied at the royal northern college of music under john gough and tracey redfern.

Leonie Adams

Léonie studied in moscow, the royal college of music and the royal academy of music in london. She has recently been awarded the honour aram, associate of the royal academy of music.

Ivo Stankov

Ivo has become one of bulgaria’s leading and most versatile artists of his generation. He is equally at home as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, and educator. Ivo’s latest cd recording of mendelssohn’s double violin and piano concerto with the royal philharmonic orchestra received critical acclaim as one of “dazzling virtuosity” (classical music daily), and “a disc to treasure” (musicweb international).

Lewis Edney

Lewis is director of music at bishops wordsworth’s grammar school in salisbury. He has run music departments in schools for over 10 years taking pupils through gcse, a-level and ib syllabuses using eduqas, ocr, edexcel and ocr boards.

Andrew Huntriss

Andrew studied music and philosophy at the university of birmingham, before undertaking a master’s degree at the guildhall school of music and drama in london. As a professional bassoonist, andrew has appeared on television and radio, and has performed extensively across europe, including a six month spell in portugal.
