Martha is an accomplished oboist and passionate music educator. She began playing the oboe at the age of 11 and went on to study at Chetham’s School of Music, followed by the Royal College of Music. Martha has enjoyed a successful performing career, touring with major productions such as South Pacific, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Miss Saigon, and performing alongside renowned artists including Alfie Boe, Katherine Jenkins, and Josh Groban. Her performances have taken her to iconic venues such as Wembley Arena, the Royal Albert Hall, and Munich’s Olympiahalle.
In recent years, Martha has focused on teaching and has held positions at several prestigious schools, including Christ’s Hospital, Orchard House School, Lady Margaret School, and Kew House School. With over 20 years of experience, she has inspired and prepared hundreds of students, maintaining a 100% ABRSM exam pass rate. Her deep love for teaching continues to shape and support the next generation of young musicians.
