Lee is an exceptionally versatile and experienced drummer whose career spans West End musicals, international touring, studio work, television, and education. His dynamic playing and adaptable style have made him a first-call musician across a wide range of genres.
Lee’s extensive theatre credits include some of the West End’s biggest shows, such as We will rock you, Rock of ages, Wicked, Mamma Mia, Charlie and the chocolate factory, Thriller live, School of rock, The Book of Mormon, Jersey boys, Legally blonde, The Bodyguard, Grease, Fame, Footloose, Dancing in the streets, and The Rocky horror picture show.
Lee has performed with top tribute acts including Killer queen, Bowie PR (Paul Rodgers), and Stevie Wonderful. He has also shared the stage with major artists such as Gabrielle, Candi Staton, Pixie Lott, Cerys Matthews, Ed Harcourt, John Turrell, Paul Rodgers, Avraham Fried, Benny Friedman, and Mordechai,Ben David. As a supporting act drummer, he has opened for Michael Mcdonald and Ronan Keating.
On-screen, lee has appeared on shows including Des & Mel and It’s a knockout, and has contributed to commercial campaigns for brands such as Mcdonald’s.
Lee’s versatility has also seen him working in the world of pantomime, performing in productions such as Cinderella (starring Brian Conley), Jack and the beanstalk (with Bobby Davro), Aladdin and Robin Hood (with Diversity), and Peter Pan (with Joe Pasquale).
On the international stage, Lee has toured extensively with show bands including Club live, Muzika, and Gilev, performing at high-profile events across the globe.lee is currently touring UK and Europe with ‘The Rock Orchestra’
An experienced educator, Lee holds a PTLS qualification and has worked as a drum kit tutor for the British Academy of New Music. He is a contributor to the 2024 ABRSM drum kit syllabus, further cementing his influence on the next generation of drummers.
