A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, Nikki was a pupil at Wells Cathedral School for seven years. A member of Southbank Sinfonia in 2004, with whom she performed Bruch’s Violin Concerto, she furthered her studies in New York with the late Joey Corpus. A member of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for eight years from 2006, Nikki has also freelanced extensively with orchestras such as the Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, and BBC Concert Orchestra, and is currently an Associate Member of the London Mozart Players.

Nikki has a private studio of violin students, teaches pupils at Charterhouse School, and is the presenter of an adult team-building project called Crescendo. She has twenty years of experience working regularly with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden for opera and ballet performances. As the leader of Nevill Holt Opera in its formative years, Nikki led productions of Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Puccini’s La Bohème, Bizet’s Carmen, and Verdi’s Rigoletto. Leading the orchestra at London’s Coliseum for Ivan Putrov’s Against the Stream gala, Nikki performed Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty violin solo.

Nikki enjoys performing in multiple musical styles and genres, including performing with Dua Lipa live at the Royal Albert Hall in 2024. She is the leader of the Orchestra Qawwali Project, with whom she guest-led the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, performing on a Nicolo Gagliano violin kindly loaned to her by Florian Leonhard Fine Violins.
