Anna regularly works with the philharmonia, london symphony, london philharmonic & royal philharmonic orchestras as well as the english national opera. She has toured europe, america, the far east and australia playing her cello with these orchestras. She has played solo cello with sting and the royal philharmonic concert orchestra across america including concerts at the met, new york and hollywood bowl. She also recorded solo cello for sting’s symphonicity album at abbey road. Anna regularly plays live on radio 3 with the bbc symphony orchestra for the proms. She records regularly for cool music and isabel griffiths at abbey road and air studios. Anna held the permanent position of co-principal cello of opera north.. At opera north she had the opportunity to play some lovely opera solos as well as to play plenty of chamber music. Anna recorded the principal cello part of bachianas brasileiras with the royal philharmonic orchestra for emi in 2017 at angel studios.
Anna has played chamber music with the jerusalem string quartet. She has played solo recitals at st james piccadilly, bath festival, city of london festival, leeds festival and st martins-in-the-field. She was a member of the alexander piano quartet from 2000-2011, which included a residency at blackheath halls..
Anna has been teaching for 25 years. Including permanent positions held at the primary royal academy of music london, city of london school for girls, blackheath conservatoire and hampton court house. She has taught chamber music at the prestigious procorda courses. She has held her current permanent teaching position at emanuel school, london, for 12 years.
