Lewis Edney
Lewis is Director of music at Bishops Wordsworth’s Grammar School in Salisbury. He has run music departments in schools for over 10 years taking pupils through GCSE, A-level and IB syllabuses using EDUGAS, OCR, EDEXCEL and OCR boards. He is also a moderator for both GCSE composition and the appraisal paper.
Before teaching, Lewis spent 15 years as a professional trombonist and tuba player working with many of the orchestras and opera companies across the UK, had seats on touring musicals and deputised extensively in the West End.
Lewis would be available for tutoring towards GCSE, IGCSE, A-level or IB music exams; music theory up to grade 8 and instrumental lessons on any brass instrument up to grade 5 and low brass (trombones, euphonium and tuba) up to diploma level and preparation for university or music college applications.
