Dave Price

Since graduating with a bmus(hons) degree from london university dave has had a very varied performing and teaching career. He initially toured with the orchestra of the bolshoi ballet and was later on the music staff at the royal national theatre for many years, including for the productions of trellawney of the wells, the resistible rise of arturo ui and the ongoing an inspector calls.

Henri Ridgeon

Henrietta studied at trinity college of music and the royal academy of music. some career highlights are touring north america and europe with sting and star wars in concert. Henrietta currently teaches violin and viola at john lyon school and hurlingham school.

Jonathan Clarke

Jonathan’s professional career began aged 23 in 2001 when he was appointed Principal Trumpet with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic. He performed weekly at the famous venue the Concertgebouw under conductors such as Alexander Lazarev, Jaap van Zweden, Gennadi Rhozdestvensky, Hans Werner Henze, John Adams and the late Hans Vonk.

Kate Denton

I graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a first class honours degree where I studied ‘cello, piano and singing.  Whilst at the Academy, I gained an LRAM teaching diploma. I have over 20 years of experience, both teaching from the home and in schools. I hold a PGCE and am an experienced class music teacher. With Live Music Now I worked with students with special needs and those in hospital settings.

Dan Anthony

Dan graduated from the Royal College of Music, London in 1992. In his final year at the college he was awarded the overall Brass Prize for his principal study, the French horn, and was also a finalist in the Royal Overseas League Competition in 1995. On leaving college he started his career as a freelance horn player and worked intensively with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under Sir Simon Rattle.

Mark Bennett

Mark  is a British-born trumpet player whose illustrious career spans over four decades. Renowned for his musicality, he has established himself as one of the most accomplished trumpet players of his generation. Throughout his career, Mark has performed at the highest level across a diverse range of musical settings, from solo performances to recording sessions, London’s West End musicals, orchestral and brass ensemble engagements.

Katrina Lauder

Katrina Lauder is a freelance French Horn player based in the UK. She plays with world renowned symphony orchestras from all over the globe. Including Principal horn with The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Co-Principal horn with The London Philharmonic Orchestra and The Symphony Orchestra of India, as well as playing for shows in London’s West End. She has recorded albums with the likes of Annie Lennox and Ebe Oke and has toured with Sting on the album If on a Winter’s Night.

Katie Bicknell

Katie is an international flautist of “sumptuous tone” (The Straits Times, Singapore) and “striking musical ability” (musicweb). As a freelance flute and piccolo player Katherine has a busy schedule of guest appearances, frequently as principal, with many major orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Aurora Orchestra, the Royal Northern Sinfonia and the RTE Concert Orchestra.

Jo Willey

Jo trained at prestigious institutions including Chetham’s School of Music, St Mary’s Music School, and Middlesex University. She is an experienced examiner for LCM Exams (Stave House Method) and I-PATH, with a comprehensive approach to both music and performing arts education and a fully qualified dance teacher holding teaching qualifications from the Royal Academy of Dance, ISTD, IDTA, Acrobatic Arts, I-PATH, Alixa Flexibility, and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT).

Stuart Eminson

Hello! I’m Stuart, a fun, easy-going clarinet, saxophone and flute teacher. My aim is to provide a good, enjoyable and inspiring experience- and to motivate and communicate the love i have of music to others. It’s also a huge transferable asset to have! Whether you are a total beginner, discovering your chosen instrument, an experienced player auditioning for music conservatoire (for clarinet), or an adult trying something new as a hobbie, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
